Android 4.2 Jelly Bean CyanogenMOD 10 ROM for Samsung Galaxy ACE Plus S7500L is now available to update your mobile. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy Ace Plus is from CyanogenMod developers. And it includes all the new features in the latest version. You can upgrade your phone to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System by installing this custom ROM. Google Apps are not included in the ROM. So, you have to download the Gapps file. Be aware before processing this tutorial that this is not an official update from Samsung. Backup and Restore your Android device with ClockWorkMod Recovery HERE

How to install:

  1. Boot to Android System Recovery mode by pressing volume up key + home button + power key for 3 seconds or until you see the Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360 screen
  2. After that, immediately release the keys and press it again until the recovery shows up.
  3. In recovery, select install zip from sd card.
  4. After that, select TempCWM.zip from the list.
  5. After that, you will then see ClockWorkMod Recovery with texts in yellow color.
  6. In ClockWorkMod Recovery, select mounts and storage.
  7. Mount /system, /data, cache.
  8. Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.
  9. Select advanced and debugging.
  10. Select wipe dalvik cache and wipe batterystats.bin (optional).
  11. Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.
  12. Select wipe data/factory reset.
  13. Select wipe cache.
  14. Select install zip from sd card.
  15. Select choose zip from sd card.
  16. Select Hyperion zip package (HYPERION-08.GM-FINAL.zip).
  17. Go to mounts and storage
  18. Mount /system, /data, cache.
  19. Select install zip from sd card
  20. Select choose zip from sd card
  21. Select RIL Fix package (HYPERION-08.GM-RIL.FIX.zip)
  22. Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.

Official Android ICS 4.0 Update For Samsung Galaxy s2


Recently Samsung released ICS 4.0.4 XWLPX for Galaxy S2 (I9100) with minor bug fix and some improvements. This is the latest ICS version for Galaxy S2 so far. In some countries users can update to this version Over The Air (OTA). If this update not available in your country you can manually update the version using Odin.

This post describe the step to manually update your Samsung Galaxy S2 to ICS 4.0.4

Note :

1. Backup your important data.
2. Enable USB debugging in your phone.
3. Battery must have 60% or more charge.
4. Disable or Exit Antivirus and Kies if you are installed.
5. Your PC must install Kies or Galaxy S2 driver For driver click Here or Here.
6. This Firmware is only for Galaxy S2 I9100 International Version.

Steps: 


Proceed at your own risk


1. Download ICS 4.0.4 XWLPX 

2. Download Odin 

3. Extract the Update file I9100XWLPX_I9100NEELP5_NEE.zip (You will get two files I9100XWLPX_I9100XXLQ6_I9100NEELP5_HOME.tar.md5 andSS_DL.dll).

4. Now, Extract and Open odin3 v1.85.exe.

5. Power off Galaxy S2.

6. Now boot in to download mode. ( Press and hold : Volume down key and Home button ( Center button ) ,now press and hold the power button to boot in to downloadmode)

7. In download mode connect your phone to PC.

8. Now look in Odin... ID:COM box will be yellow with a port name and Added!message will be displayed.



If not...then it will be the problem of your driver or USB cable ...recheck it.

9. In Odin..Click PDA and browse the update fileI9100XWLPX_I9100XXLQ6_I9100NEELP5_HOME.tar.md5 and ClickStart.





At this point, DO NOT remove your device until ODIN says finished, or if something goes wrong, it will say failed.

It may take a few minutes to finish the process, so be patient.
you will get a green (pass signal)






10. After complete update Odin will show PASS on top left and phone will reboot. now unplug phone from USB.



Note : 

If the phone stuck at the boot screen...
1. Remove and reinsert your battery. 
2. Now boot into recovery mode (Press and hold the Volume up and Home button ( Center button ) ,now press and hold the power button to boot in to recovery mode.
3. Apply wipe data/factory reset.
4. Apply wipe cache partition.
5. Finally reboot system...

This present guide will teach you how to install the latest CM 10.2 Stable build for the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 device. This CyanogenMod 10.2 is designed by the CM team, and it is based on AOSP Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM.
As I told you before, the new CM 10.2 for Samsung Galaxy SI900 device is a stable build, that’s means you can use this custom ROM on a daily basis without to receive some issues or problems from it.

Prerequisites:

  • This step by step guide is provided Only for Samsung Galaxy S model number I9000 device. Do not flash this ROM zip that you find in this tutorial on any other incorrect Galaxy S devices, as it will end up bricking it.
  • The Samsung Galaxy S device has to be rooted and also it needs to run the latest CWM Recovery Image. (The TWRP Recovery should work with this step by step instructional guide, but you should to apply the corresponding CWM Recovery instructions in order to success the installation).
  • A Factory Reset operation is required to be applied if you want to boot your Galaxy S device into normal mode with CM 10.2 firmware after flashing process.
  • Keep in mind this, the factory reset deletes all your data from installed applications and also the factory reset doesn’t delete the content from internal or external storage.
  • In the present tutorial you’ll find an NANDROID ROM backup step, you need to do this step in order to be sure that you have a complete backup for your actual ROM.
  • Backup all market applications by using the Helium tool from here, also be sure that you backup all your SMS and MMS, APN Settings, Call Logs History, Sync Contacts info with your Gmail account,  and all your data stored into device’s internal memory.
  • From the Developer Options enable the USB Debugging Mode.
  • Ensure that the device’s battery power left status is more than 60 % charge before the Galaxy S device switches off.

How to install CM 10.2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM for Samsung Galaxy S I9000 device:

  1. Firstly, you need to download the CM 10.2 custom ROM zip from here.
  2. Secondly, download the Gapps for Android 4.3 firmware from here.
  3. Connect the smartphone with your computer by using the USB cable.
  4. Copy and paste (Move) the both downloaded zip files to the device internal storage.
  5. Do not unzip the files.
  6. Disconnect the smartphone from the PC when the files are successfully copied.
  7. Turn off the device.
  8. Boot it into CWM Recovery Mode. To do this you need to press and keep holding the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons in the same time.
  9. When the custom Recovery menu is displayed then you can release the buttons.
  10. Now, create a full NANDROID Backups for your device’s running ROM, so that will be a restore point for the smartphone. To do this select the ‘backup and restore’ option from the CMW recovery menu and store the backup file on the device’s internal or external fee space.
  11. Now, apply a Factory Reset by selecting the “wipe data/factory reset” and then confirm.
  12. Now, install the official CM 10.2 zip file for the Samsung Galaxy S I9000:
  13. To do this select ‘install zip from sdcard’, then ‘choose zip from sdcard’ and find the copied custom ROM zip file and confirm its installation.
  14. After the new custom ROM is installed, select once more ‘choose zip from sdcard’ and then install the other copied zip file, the Gapps for Android 4.3OS.
  15. When the both files are complete installed then, return to the main custom Recovery Menu.
  16. Reboot the smartphone into normal mode.
Note: The first boot process will take more time to be completed, around 10 minutes to load all the necessary files. If this process takes longer or the smartphone enters into boot loop, then you’ll need to repeat the entire tutorial once again without to skip any steps.

Ok, so lets checkout what are the thing you need to perform, before you can go with this Jellybean update installation.
Safety first,
1) Make a full backup of your SMS, Contacts, call logs, GPRS setting etc to your SD card.
2) Move all your songs, video etc to your SD card.

How to install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830:

1) First of all make sure to complete all the steps I have listed in above requirement section. Then move onto step 2.
2) Download the jelly bean package from above link and save it to your desktop.
3) Connect your Ace to computer and move the downloaded zip package to your phone SD card. (don’t put inside any folder)
4) Switch off your phone, wait for 5 secs. Then press and hold volume up+ home+power button until phone start in recovery mode.
5) Now when the recovery mode comes up, first of all select the option that says “wipe data/factory reset” on the next select yes to confirm factory resetting.
6) Then wipe cache partition followed by yes to confirm wiping the cache partition of your phone, else your device may stuck at boot screen.
7) Now select the advanced option from recovery main menu and then wipe the dalvik cache.
8) After that select the “Mount and Storage” option and then Format system to delete everything from your system partition.
9) Back to mount and storage option again, this time mount the following one by one : mount system, mount data, mount cache.
10) Now come back to recovery main menu and select the option that says install zip from SD card followed by choose zip from SD card, then browse and select the Android 4.3 Jellybean update package for Samsung Galaxy Ace. Wait few minute let the installation complete.
When it says Installation over, press back to main menu and select reboot system now to restart your phone in normal mode running CyanogenMOD.
Troubleshooting

After installing this 4.3 update if you found some of your Google apps are crashing automatically then here we got a fix for it.
  1. Open your phones setting
  2. Select factory data reset
  3. follow the on-screen instruction to complete the process.
  4. Restart your phone, when it completes.

    • Then install ClockWorkMod custom Recovery. Check this – custom Recovery in Samsung Galaxy Y
    • Download the Jelly blast rom for your phone – JellyBlastGenED.signed.zip – (122.47 MB) –Here
    • Then connect your phone to PC or Laptop with USB cable.
    • And transfer the downloaded file to your Phone’s SD card.
    • After that, disconnect the cable from Computer.
    • Then Switch off your phone and reboot in recovery mode.
    • To do that, press Volume Up + Home + Power button together.
    • Then you will move on to recovery page.
    • You can use Volume Up and Volume Down keys to navigate the option.
    • Do all wipe process. Wipe format, wipe system, wipe data, wipe boot, wipe dalivik, wipe cache. And confirm the process on next screen that came after you select.
    • After that select “Install zip from SD card” and in next page “Choose zip from SD card”.
    • Now you have to select the downloaded zip file.
    • And confirm it on the next page.
    • Wait for the process finish. This will install the Jelly Bean on your phone.
    • After few minutes your phone will display a message completed in recovery mode.
    • After the installation complete, Go back to main menu and select Reboot System Now option to restart your phone.
    • If your phone has stuck on the welcome screen or boot screen, just remove the battery and re insert it and do the above steps again.
    • Note: First time boot will take some long time. It will install the ROM updates on first time restarting phone. It takes some minutes to show the home screen on first time.
